...where Sadie and Todd became indistinguishable!
Because we were scared of getting lost, we listened to The Saints of Pain (that ALWAYS puts us back on track). Oddly, we drove past them, sort of.
And we saw a really weird flag.
Following the suggestion of R.E.M., we aren't going back to Rockville! We are going back to Frederick, where we tried and failed to see a couple of games a few years ago. The games had been cancelled due to HOLES in the OUTFIELD!
We got to Frederick, where the Frederick Keys (A-Advanced for the Orioles) were playing the Lake County Captains (A-Advanced for Stephanie's beloved Cleveland Indians). This is gonna be good!
Kickin' it old school.
We met up with some friends: Hi Jason, Jacob, Conner and Olivia!
Todd and the topiary are ready to play ball!
Uh-oh...
Stephanie found some like-minded friends!
And some real live Kinston Indians!
Members of the local Browns-Backers Club (not only members, but also its President!)
Roll away the tarp!
Stephanie and Keyote
Awww... Color Guard Kids from a local elementary school sang the National Anthem.
Olivia got decorated!
This nice Indians player (Adam Abraham) gave Jacob a baseball!
Could it be???
The Kinston Indians' Mighty Casey Frawley came to bat and blasted a 3-run homer in the top of the 9th to win the game! Go K-Tribe!!!
And we saw it!
As did Bernie?
I'm not sure this is what he had in mind.
And we're off again!
Western Maryland does not consider their State Crustacean when they want you to be careful driving?
In Maryland, we crossed the Eastern Continental Divide! (not pictured)
Welcome to West Virginia! (some think of it as "almost heaven")
Isn't this where all the horror movies begin? We didn't stop.
Cheat Lake?
We stopped at what we found out was a national chain for dinner. But Stephanie kind of lost her appetite.
